Cordless Roller Shades are an ideal solution for child safety concerns.
Romanzia® Cordless Roller Shades Feature:
Traditional Spring Roller Mechanisms mounted in a 1 " or 1 1/2" diameter metal roller. Romanzia spring mechanisms roll smoothly on ball bearings and are easy to stop and release. Minimum width is 14". Maximum width is 96". The length of a shade may be limited by the weight of the fabric.
Optional Advanced Cordless Roller Mechanisms mounted in a 1 1/2" diameter metal roller. Advanced Cordless Rollers have a controlled lift speed and an adjustable, automatic stop mechanism. Minimum width is 19". Maximum width is 96". The length of a shade may be limited by the weight of the fabric.
Your choice of over 250 Fabrics from the Romanzia Fabric Collection – including most Phifer Sheerweave Sunscreening, Translucent, and Blackout Fabrics.
Optional Somfy or Rollease Automate Motorization for shades up to 180" wide.
Traditional Spring Roller Shades with Standard Universal Brackets
Traditional Spring Rollers are lowered by pulling the hembar down to the place you want it to stop. To raise the shade, pull the hembar down about an inch to release the stop - but don't let go. Carefully guide the shade back up to the place you want it to stop.
All of our Traditional Spring Roller Brackets are designed for wall mount, ceiling mount, or side mount.
Advanced Cordless Roller Shades with Standard Brackets
Advanced Cordless Rollers have a controlled lift speed and an adjustable, automatic stop mechanism. To lower the shade, pull the hembar down to the place you want it to stop and let go. To raise the shade, pull the hembar down about an inch and release - the shade will glide slowly up to its preset upper limit.
Shades are pre-mounted on headrails. Headrails are then mounted using snap-on brackets.
Tension and Stops are pre-set at the factory but can be easily adjusted on site.
Shades can be Regular or Reverse Roll.
Shades can be ordered with either end adjustments or front adjustments.
Advanced Cordless Roller Shades with Optional Cassettes
Shades are pre-mounted in cassettes. The cassettes are then mounted with simple spring clip brackets. The thickness of the fabric and the length of the shade will determine which size cassette to use.
All cassettes have a matching fabric insert.
Standard cassette frame and end cap colors are
White, Vanilla, Bronze, Black, and SilverGray.
Cordless Roller Shades with Optional Shade Topper Valances
Shade Topper Valances are available in the hem styles pictured below.
Valances attach to a mounting board (included) with a hook and loop fastening strip.
Valances should be ordered with a face width at least ½” wider than the bracket to bracket width of the shade they cover.
Maximum valance width is 144". Maximum valance length is 12" including trim.
Optional Scalloped and Trimmed Hems for Shades and Valances
Any Romanzia Roller Shade or Shade Topper Valance can be ordered with a Scalloped and/or Trimmed Hem.
Hems are finished with a trim supplied by the customer, banding made with fabric supplied by the customer, or with French Gimp supplied by Romanzia (a choice of over 200 colors - see French Gimp Trim).

Bottom-Up Roller Shades
A constant tension spring roller at the bottom keeps the shade taught while the hem is lifted with a single-cord lift system or a multi-cord lift system.
Single Cord Lift System. Hem is lifted with a single cord pulled through a locking pulley at the top of the window. Maximum width is 54".
Multi-Cord Lift System. Hem is lifted by multiple cords wrapping around a bead-chain clutch lift system at the top of the window - covered with a valance. Maximum width is 96".
Stationary Panels.
Flat Panels of shade fabric are stapled to wood headrails or fastened to wood headrails with a hook and loop fastening strip. Turned bottom hems or baserails hang free.
Angled Top Stationary Panels.
Flat Panels of shade fabric are fastened to wood headrails with a hook and loop fastening strip. Tops are angled to fit your precise measurements or match your template. Turned bottom hems or baserails hang free.

Any Romanzia Roller Shade can be motorized.

Somfy Shade Motorization
Somfy Motorization offers:
Battery-Powered Motors with built-in Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries offer a perfect solution for windows in areas where wiring would be difficult. Batteries must be recharged periodically. Solar Chargers are available.
Battery-Powered Motors with separate Reloadable or Rechargeable Battery Packs provide another great solution for windows in areas where wiring would be difficult. Standard battery packs contain eight AA lithium batteries which must be replaced periodically. Solar charging options are also available.
Low Voltage DC Wired Motors. Somfy offers a great selection of 24 Volt DC quiet motors for when low voltage wiring is preferred.
110 Volt AC Motors. Somfy AC Motors are strong, quiet, and dependable - the traditional choice for windows where 110 Volt power is available.
The Somfy RTS Radio Remote Control System. Somfy offers a complete line of handheld remote controls, wireless wall switches, network controls, and smart home controls including Somfy Tahoma.
Rollease Automate Shade Motorization
Rollease Automate Motorization offers:
5 Volt and 12 Volt DC Battery-Powered Motors with built-in Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries. Automate battery powered motorized shades are a perfect retro-fit for existing homes or small commercial projects. Li-ion powered motors require no electric wiring, no external battery pack and no complicated installation. There is a Rollease Automate battery powered motor for every size shade - up to 180" wide. Motors must be recharged periodically. Solar chargers are available.
Low Voltage DC Wired Motors. Automate DC powered motorized shades are an excellent choice when designing a new home, motorizing an entire existing home, or planning a small commercial project. DC wired shades are maintenance free and low voltage DC wiring keeps installation costs to a minimum.
110 Volt AC Motors. With high lifting capacities, Automate AC Motorized Shades are a great choice for homes and commercial projects where 110 Volt power can be provided.

Rush Orders:
We will do our best to complete your order in a timely manner. If you have a deadline, please let us know and we will try to work with it. If accommodating your deadline is not possible within our regular work schedule, we may be able to schedule overtime help to complete your order on a rush basis. Please check with Romanzia Customer Service to see if rush orders are being accepted. If so, a 20% rush charge will apply.
Change Orders:
Order changes or cancellations may only occur before the start of production.

We will gladly calculate pricing for any of your projects. Larger orders may qualify for a quantity discount. Please e-mail or fax a detailed description of your job to Romanzia Customer Service (you can use a Romanzia Order Form and check "Quote Only" at the top).
Shipping Charges:
Shipping charges are billed to the customer. We will always do our best to send your order by the best and most economical means possible. Orders with one or more items that exceed the FedEx size restrictions must be shipped by truck.
Warranty:
Romanzia products are guaranteed to be free from defect for a period of five years from date of purchase. Romanzia reserves the right to correct any such defect. This guarantee does not extend to any fabric, trim, or lining supplied by the customer, normal wear, or damage as a result of misuse.
A Note about Edge Curling
All roller shades are susceptible to some degree of edge curling. Edge curling can be caused by variations in temperature or humidity between the window and the room. We have selected shade materials that are soft and stable in order to minimize edge curling. We cannot, however, guarantee that your shades will not show some degree of curling.
